KJHK Live Stream Help

KJHK uses sn Icecast2 server combined with Oddcast MP3 Streaming to broadcast on the Internet. Here is some software that is capable of connecting to our streaming server:

    Winamp
    RealPlayer
    iTunes
    MusicMatch Jukebox

Users connecting to the internet through a low-speed connection such as dial-up should use the Low Quality stream. On the other hand, high-speed internet users such as cable, DSL should use the High Quality stream.

If your stream is still breaking up even though you have selected the correct stream for your connection, you can increase the streaming data buffer to minimize the need to re-buffer. In Winamp, go under Preferences > Select Input under Plug-ins. Click on NullSoft Audio Decoder and then Configure. Under the streaming tab, change the Streaming Data Buffer to a higher number.
